How do I hire an ActionVan Camper?
Call us on 01489 799980 - A deposit of £150/week is required with booking, balance in full due 30 days prior to hire date.
What payment types do you accept?
Cheque or Bank Transfer
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, we need a signed cheque for £1000 which we will only bank if the vehicle, or any of it’s contents are damaged or lost.
Can the £1000 excess be lowered?
Yes we offer a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) £10/day which reduces your liability/excess to £250
Where do we pick the ActionVan up from?
ActionVan, Unit A, Smiths Yard, Calcot Lane, Curdridge, Hampshire, SO32 2BN
Can we leave our car with you?
We have a secure yard in which to leave your car.
Is there a Train Station near by?
Yes Botley Station is 2 mins down the road and we can pick you up from there.
What time can we pick up/return the ActionVan?
Collection is any time after 9am weekdays and returns no later than 4pm. A late return of £10/hr applies.
Will I be shown how to use the van?
Yes, allow an hour for this and the relevant paperwork.
What documents will I need?
Each Driver will require Full Drivers Licence with ID, if old style we will need to see a passport too. Also a utility bill with full name and address. We cannot insure you without this information.
How old are the vans?
Between 1 & 4 years
How many will the van sleep?
Our T5s sleep 2/3 additional tent hire available by request.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes Drivers must be between the ages of 21 and 70 and have held a Full Licence for 12months.
Drivers outside of this age group and or with over 6 points need to contact us in advance to discuss.
Can I go to Europe?
Yes. See additional surcharge details.
What happens if I break down?
All vans are covered by Road Side Assistance.
If in the event, they don’t get you going, we will supply a replacement vehicle subject to availability.
What is the minimum number of days I can hire the Van?
Over the Summer we say 7 days but let us know your requirement, outside of that period we can offer a 24hr rental service
Can I take the dog?
Of course!
Can I Smoke in the van?
Of course NOT!!!
We operate a No Smoking and No Phoning (When Driving) Policy!
